The tagline at SS Produce says it simply: we grow what we sell. On the Keremeos Bypass, Kam and family run one of the valley’s most straightforward and honest farm stands — a direct-from-the-grower stop where the fruit and vegetables are picked fresh each day of the growing season and sold at fair farm-gate prices.
The crop list runs the full length of the Similkameen season: peaches, cherries, apricots, pears, apples, nectarines, plums, and prunes from the orchard, alongside garlic, peppers, and tomatoes from the field. Honey crisp apples are a particular favourite among regulars. Honey, cold drinks, and ice cream round out the selection, and boxes are available for those stocking up in volume — retail and wholesale both welcome.
Hospitality is a point of pride. Guests consistently remark on the warmth and generosity of the family running the stand, and many make SS Produce a regular stop on every trip through Keremeos. Ample parking, and long daily opening hours make it one of the most practical stops in the Fruit Stand Capital of Canada.
