Robin Ridge Winery

One of the Similkameen’s most established certified organic estate wineries, Robin Ridge has been farming its 18 acres of Middle Bench vineyard since 1996 — drawing wines of genuine terroir character from gravelly loam soils and the intense Similkameen sunshine that defines this stretch of the Keremeos Bench.
Tim and Caroline Cottrill purchased the property in 1996 and have built a broad, expressive range of estate wines over nearly three decades of organic growing. Their philosophy is rooted in working with nature rather than against it — no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides, and a labour-intensive Geneva Double Curtain trellis system that maximises sun exposure and encourages the vines to produce small yields of intensely flavoured fruit. The result is wines that speak clearly of where they were grown.
The range is one of the most varied on the Sip the Similkameen trail. The Gamay is the house signature — expressive, fruit-forward, and a natural fit for the variety’s love of warm days and cool nights. Alongside it, award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Merlot, the varietal Gewürztraminer, a complex Meritage, the much-loved Flamingo off-dry rosé, and the Sparkling Finch — a traditional sparkling wine that rounds out one of the most complete estate portfolios in the valley. The Flock Club wine subscription ships the latest releases directly to members’ doors.
