Lass Chance Beverage Co.

Forty years of family farming are poured into every can. Some fruit never makes the cut. Too small. A bruise. A scar. Perfectly good, turned away for looking wrong. At Lass Chance, we rescue that fruit and turn it into cider and fruit soda – giving every piece of Lasser fruit its last chance.

Our Story

Sunny Lasser arrived in Canada in 1986 with farming in his blood. By 1988, he was growing in the Similkameen — drawn by the hot summers, cool nights, and some of the best stone fruit country in Canada. In 1991, he opened Lasser Produce, believing good fruit should be available and affordable. His wife, Jesse, joined him, alongside their kids Nav and Gagan. Four decades later, the Lasser family farm is one of the top growers in Western Canada, growing, packing, and shipping directly to retailers across the country.

The Ciders

No concentrate. No added sugar. No preservatives. Just whole fruit — pressed, fermented, and canned on-site in small batches. Grown on the farm next door. Made the way cider should be.

Golden Child: a classic dry apple cider blended from Ambrosia, Pink Lady, and Gala apples — Second Cousin: Bartlett and Anjou pears blended with an orchard apple mix — Family Fave: Freestone peach cider with fresh peach aromatics — Next Gen: Haskap berries blended with Gala, Ambrosia, and Pink Lady apples — three times the antioxidants of a blueberry, with a flavour like a strawberry and blueberry combined

At the Cider House

  • Eat — boards, sandwiches, flatbreads, and tacos made fresh on site
  • Drink — cider on tap, fruit soda, beer, wine, and tasting room exclusives
  • Orchard — the fruit grows next door on 200 acres of Similkameen Valley family farm
  • Celebrate — weddings, group tastings, and private bookings welcome
