Klippers Marketplace & Cafe
Open since 2021, Klippers Marketplace & Cafe sits at the heart of Klippers Organic Acres on MacKenzie Road in Cawston — a spacious, welcoming community hub dedicated to good, local food and artisan goods, built on the same values that guide the certified organic farm surrounding it.
The Marketplace
The shelves carry fresh produce and preserves from the farm alongside local cheeses, fresh-cut flowers, and sustainably sourced snacks. A well-stocked grocery section carries an impressive range of pickles, preserves, hot sauces, jams, salsas, and condiments — many made in house from Klippers-grown organic fruit and vegetables, including the fan-favourite heirloom tomato salsa and chili honey sauce made with Klippers organic chili peppers and local honey. A zero-waste dry goods pantry offers a jar exchange program for lentils, beans, rice, nuts, and more. Local artisan wares — woodwork, candles, jewellery, soaps — round out a retail offering that genuinely reflects the community it serves. Nearly everything is also available online at shopklippers.ca.
The Café & Bakery
The café runs a full breakfast and lunch menu seven days a week, built around seasonal, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. All baking is done in house: croissants (plain, almond, chocolate, and hazelnut), cinnamon buns, seasonal danishes made with farm fruit, espresso brownies, oat bars with house-made jam, sourdough, and focaccia that sells out fast. The full coffee bar uses Tug6 Okanagan-roasted beans alongside a smoothie bar featuring frozen fruits and vegetables straight from the farm. House-made ice cream, sorbet, and frozen yogurt are crafted with grass-fed milk, organic fruit, and local honey.
The seasonal menu covers daily soups, grab-and-go meals, salads, sandwiches, and rotating specials built around what’s coming off the farm. Gluten-free and vegan options are consistently available. Catering is offered for private and public events of all sizes. Friday is Flower Day, with fresh-cut bunches available for U-pick from the farm fields.
A welcoming, accessible stop in the Organic Farming Capital of Canada — and one of the Similkameen Valley Farm Trail’s most complete farm-to-table destinations.
