Grist Mill & Gardens at Keremeos

A 12-acre BC Provincial Heritage Site tucked along Upper Bench Road in Keremeos, the Grist Mill & Gardens offers a full destination experience built around BC’s last operating water-powered flour mill, built in 1877. Explore heritage buildings, wander gardens planted with historic flowers, herbs, and heritage apple trees, and watch the waterwheel turn just as it did nearly 150 years ago.
The Tea Room serves scratch-made lunches and baked goods made from freshly ground flour and seasonal produce grown on-site or sourced from neighbouring Similkameen farms. The gift shop carries local preserves, artisan goods, and Similkameen-made treats worth taking home. Self-guided and guided tours are available, along with a full events calendar — including Sunday Suppers, the Teddy Bear Picnic, workshops, and the annual Heritage Fall Fair. Overnight visitors can stay at the family-friendly RV campground nestled in the shade of cottonwood trees beside Keremeos Creek.
Our Tea Room serves soup, salads, sandwiches and baked goods made from the freshest local ingredients including fresh flour from our heritage mill, vegetables from our own garden and more.
