BC Parks Closures and Advisories – Currently active for Cathedral Park and Cathedral Lakes Lodge
BC Parks continues to work on restoring access and reopening Cathedral Park after the 2023 Crater Creek Wildfire, while considering the need to protect both ecological and cultural values, as well as public safety. BC Parks announced the partial opening on June 20. Review the announcement and check the BC Parks website for the most up-to-date information. Cathedral Lakes Lodge is expected to re-open in 2026.

Contact the Princeton Visitor Centre for the latest information on trail access in the Princeton area. Some sections of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) are closed or not accessible due to the flooding events in 2021.
