Seven Stones Winery

Seven Stones Winery cultivates 20 acres of bench land overlooking BC’s spectacular Similkameen River Valley. Winemaker/Owner George Hanson has created award-winning French-style wines that capture the amazing terroir.

The Caves at Seven Stones Winery tell the story of an everlasting love. Built in the memory of his late wife, Vivianne Hanson, George said the building of the caves was a labour of love. Hanson co-designed the caves with his step-son, Colin Wilson, son of Vivianne, who is a Concrete Specialist. The Caves at Seven Stones Winery were built in 2012-2013. The caves are designed as a wine cellar to age wine to their maximum potential. Hanson looks forward to touring guests in the caves, providing wine tastings, and offering winemaker dinners and special events. He also looks forward to carrying on the everlasting love story by offering the venue for wedding services and receptions as well as corporate retreats.

During the Seven Stones Experience Tour, visitors are provided with a tour of the vineyard and the facility in order to understand how the winemaking equipment operates, followed by a tour of the Caves. While enjoying the Cave tour, guests are treated to a barrel tasting as well as a chocolate experience complete with underground audio. The tour concludes with a wine tasting in the Tasting Room.

The Tour takes approximately 35 minutes and is $20/person
